Freeports are a peculiar construct; they are located within states and yet are special areas in which special rules and laws apply. They are not only suitable for the storage of valuables, but also offer wonderful opportunities to avoid taxes, disguise ownership and launder black money. In this performance, we approach the Freeport from a biological perspective and take a look at the complex symbiotic relationship they maintain with all those who supply them with their artworks.
